Recently, on twitter, I was asked if #Indian #Ads are not good enough today, sure some are, but growing up watching the below mentioned ads, I think we have a lot more potential to do better, not worse, as most of the ads have become more "face" centric.
1. Classic Cadbury Ad, I still love to watch, thanks to youtube, I can! This one really set the bar at that time!
2. No body can forget - Hamara Bajaj!
3. Liril the Progenitor Days (BTW, Liril still has the same theme going on with their ads)
4. Ayesha Takia and Shahid Kapoor - Complan - But I am growing Mommy, the jingle was dam catchy!
5. The Titan commercial, where the jingle was done by A R Rahman and The girl playing the piano is none other than Minisha Lamba.
6. I will never forget this one either, Raymonds Ad I used to love - perfect example that uses Moslow's Law or Hierarchy of Needs.
7. One of Nescafe's finest, Love the jingle and you may also see a glimpse of what Hotmail's first version looked like!
